The Southern Door Community Auditorium Advisory Committee, established in 2012, is an effort to broaden programming and seek community input into the future direction of the Southern Door Community Auditorium and the performing arts in Door County. The committee is a representative body of students, staff, parents and community members which assist the administration in the development of opportunities and processes to encourage the success and strength of SDCA programming in a spirit of collaboration.
Some of the work the committee is tasked with includes:
• Provide counsel to the Auditorium Directors, Administration and the Board of Education concerning matters of auditorium programming, marketing, fundraising, policy, strategies..as it relates to the district’s mission.
• Provide a communication link between the staff, Board of Education and the community.
Meetings are held from 6:00 – 7:00 PM in the auditorium on the third Thursday of each month.
