Performing the music of The Beatles true to their records, every performance is as outstanding as the next, with vintage instruments, amplifiers and authentic suits in the famous Fab Four style for full effect! It is the band’s mission to replicate and bring back to life the excitement of the original recordings and live performances from the Cavern Club era onwards. Critics the world over have agreed that the group has the sound, energy and excitement of The Beatles, second to none. Amber Brown is having what may be the worst year of her life. She and Justin Daniels were the perfect team: they laughed at each other’s jokes, sat next to each other in class, and stayed best friends when Justin’s dad had to move away. But now things are different. Now Justin’s house has been sold and he is going to Alabama; that’s too far from New Jersey to think about.

Told in a uniquely funny and forthright style, this story of a feisty young girl who refuses to let her problems get the better of her will touch and entertain audiences everywhere. You’ll laugh and cry with Amber as she learns some valuable lessons about the virtues of patience and the meaning of friendship.

Those words express familiar sentiments often heard these days, but are spoken in this case not by a politician of 2012, but by Curly, the cowboy who takes the notion of change and wrestles it to the ground in Oklahoma! Part charming love story, part stirring retelling of American history, and many parts beloved songs and stunning dance, Oklahoma! was the first collaboration by the legendary team of Rodgers and Hammerstein, and was a milestone in the development of American musical theater for its fusion of song, story and dance.

The music and lyrics have proven to be some of the best in musical theatre with songs that include “Oh What a Beautiful Morning”, “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top”, People Will Say We’re in Love, “I Can’t Say No”, “Oklahoma!” and many more, making this a musical treat for the entire family.

Tickets: Students: $5, Adults: $8. All seating is reserved. Tickets are not available online but can be purchased at the Southern Door High School Office (7:45 am – 3:45 pm) or at Greisen’s Appliance Plus located in the Cherry Point Mall (Sturgeon Bay). Tickets can also be purchased at the Box Office, which opens 60 minutes prior to curtain.

Senior citizens with a Southern Door Gold Card must purchase a ticket and can have it reimbursed the night of the performance by showing the Gold Card and the ticket at the ticket window.

Miss Door County Pageant

Join friends, family and the entire Door County community for the 2013 Miss Door County Pageant, featuring seven women from the Door County area as they compete in numerous areas for thousands of dollars in continuing education scholarships. A panel of judges will ultimately decide who will be crowned Miss Door County 2013 and represent the county at the Miss Wisconsin Pageant.

And out of the basement shall come a program of good tidings, great humor and joy! It’s 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program. As the children rehearse, the ladies of the kitchen are putting final touches on the nativity pieces. Little do the ladies know what surprises are in store as they are called upon to save the day.

The ever-popular Church Basement Ladies are back with their third installment of coffee cake, gossip and shepherd’s costumes made of old bathrobes, just in time for Christmas. You’re sure to recognize your mother, grandmother and great aunt Millie in these well-known, well-loved characters.
